A friendly welcome from the staff in reception. We stayed in cabin 10 which was basic but comfy and clean. We had everything we needed for our stopover. The facilities were just feet away which was really handy. Nice and clean with spacious showers. There is a shop on site and a cafe. The pool looked ok but we didn't try it unfortunately due to us leaving early for the Norwegian border. The site is by the lake which was lovely. Nice and quiet. We'd definitely come again.

In an unbelievably peaceful environment, the apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the convenience of the flat and its location, just a short drive to Strömstad and with a beautiful sandy beach down the road. To top it off, our hostess was welcoming snd uncomplicated. We had a wonderful time at Solhem. Cozy with old wooden floors, beautiful details and two fireplaces. It really had everything we wanted and the beds were comfortable! The house is located in a residential area without major roads. It was a huge garden. We also liked that there were a new induction hob, stove, fridge and freezer in the kitchen even though it was an old charming interior. There was fast wi-fi and the tv was new, and there was chromecast so we could watch our usual channels. For us who live in an apartment in the city, it is absolutely wonderful to stay in such a charming house and have the large garden. The little beach by the lake was really beautiful and calm and the kids can go there by themselves this summer when we get back.

A very nice and well equipped cabin outside Strømstad, with a few minutes drive to the city center on one direction and to Nordby shoppingcentre in the other. Free parking, free car charging, complementary coffee, quick response and great service from the owners. Beautiful garden and nice pateo with jacuzzi. And all this for a good price... Unbeatable 😀
