We hadn’t planned on staying here: it was a last minute booking so we could escape a campsite 45 minutes away, in the heaviest rain with worries about potential flooding. Everything is great about the hotel: extremely friendly, helpful and well-organised owner. Spotlessly clean through the hotel, comfortable rooms, nice cotton bedsheets, complimentary toiletries etc, TV with great channels for English-speakers! We ate dinner here and loved the dumplings, trout, grilled veg and amazing pancakes and walnut ice cream. Breakfast was also fabulous with perfectly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs! It’s a friendly, family-run place and was a wonderful safe haven for us away from camping in the rain! The owner even took the time to tell us which roads were safe to drive on, after the floods, for our onward journey.

We spent a 10-day winter break with a kiddo and will remember this time well. The weather wasn't great, it rained sometimes, but it was about 10 degrees in January and we could enjoy the fresh mountain air on walks. There are no other houses in the area, so it is quiet here. The area is surrounded by a small forest, and in summer you can spend more time in the garden, surrounded by fruit trees and vines. The house is comfortable, well-decorated and equipped, nothing is missing. The bedroom is a kind of mezzanine above the living room, accessible by stairs. There is a dining room and a basement with the necessary equipment. Just stock up on food and you can stay at this place for a long time. In winter, you can heat the house with a wood stove or use an electric heater or air conditioning, which also serves its purpose in the summer. Driving uphill to the house can be problematic for cars with a very low suspension, but it is not a problem because you can leave your car 50 m away. The owner is helpful and ready to meet your expectations.

Very nice and calm location, right next to the local designated swimming area which includes a volleyball court and a bridge for jumping. The apartment was really clean and well equipped, like the kitchen has nice appliances for cooking, there is an outdoor seating area and parking spaces. Overall very pleasant stay and great value.

    Everyting here was great. The village, the outside location, the fields, the animals, the whole setup, with the terrace and the barbaque. The owner was a really nice person ready to help you with any of your needs or give you advice about places to visit. For sure Most na Soci is a must if you visit Slovenia, and this is a dream place. There was a wonderfull family of cats welcoming you :D Thank you so much for this experience.

    We had a memorable experience. The staff was super nice, smiling and helpful by giving us advice on what to do around even if each person had a different level in English. The village was cute and we had a room with a river/town view. The hotel is well located, very close to the river with nice walks to do around. We recommend this place!
