I like the novelty and privacy of the concept - every guest/group has a small bamboo hut of their own! I love the 2nd floor - the view of bamboo leaves and sky, and the glimpse of mountain. It was a great getaway to nature (like loud frog croaks into the night) for which I’m glad there was a mosquito net over the queen-sized bed on the 1st floor (but there isn’t one on the 2nd, and the bed is considerably thinner and smaller though it might be possible to fit 2 people). If you’re looking for the full-blown mountain experience, this might not be the ideal spot since you can only glimpse it (though you’ll definitely see the mountains as you drive out to explore), but if you’re looking for an idyllic retreat to the countryside, it’s a great reasonably-priced option. It is run by a friendly couple who can do pickups (Thb100 per ride to and fro the city, which is a fair estimate when compared to prices on the Grab app). They also did a half-day tour for me (I visited Hin Khao Ngu park, Wat Tham Nam and Wat Khao Chong Phran to see bats) for THB500. There is also an excitable puppy called Som Tam (aka papaya salad in Thai).

Royal Mountain View is a very beautiful place at Rachaburi. Every detail is thoughtful. Ot is available everything you need. For instance, microwave, hot water kettle. Surprisingly has a set of Denom AV theatre system with Netflix. I can say that the room is better than so may hotels. The owner Mr. X and his wife is super friendly and fluent in English. Breakfast is exquisite. Farm environment nature and have a peaceful lake. Me andy family are very enjoyable and we will come back again in the future.

Royal Mountain View is a hidden gem tucked away in lush greenery. The cottages are set beside a peaceful pond, surrounded by wetlands and birdsong. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our cottage: a charming house with a high-pitched roof, soaring ceilings, and large windows that opened up to a serene landscape. The entire setting exudes tranquility and space. The grounds are well-kept and offer the calm atmosphere of a countryside retreat. What makes Royal Mountain View truly special is the thoughtful blend of comfort and style. The larger cottage we moved into was bright and spacious, with a generous living area — perfect for families. A small play kitchen inside was a delightful surprise, adding a playful touch for little ones. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the surrounding nature invites you to slow down and unwind. In the evening, we watched fireflies twinkle through the windows — a magical end to the day. Breakfast the next morning was simple but satisfying: rice with a fried egg and some bread, and a quiet seat in the garden to enjoy the morning sun. The overall vibe is warm, relaxed, and personal — like stepping into a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life. Royal Mountain View isn’t about luxury; it’s about natural beauty, genuine hospitality, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. A perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and connection with nature. Thanks!!!

Breakfast was very nice and prepared for us. They let us use their very good bikes to bike around, the owner went kayaking with us (they lent us their kayak too) and they dropped us off to nearby markets very kindly.
