The owners of the hotel are extremely nice and although they dont speak english we managed to communicate really well. We booked the dinner with them and it was really amazing - all home cooked traditional dinner. Would definitely recommend to take it if you stay here. The hotel is on a bit of a remote road but its really worth the drive. Room is as shown in the pictures. Would definitely stay here again.

A very unique, random but cool place in a remote "village". To get there, you cross the bridge over the river with a stunning view. It's close to beautiful hikes and they provide a solid healthy breakfast. Lunch and dinner as well if you want, with veggies from their own garden. Downstairs is filled with taiwanese artifacts and statues and upstairs is a gallery. It's very relaxed and an experience to stay here if you love hiking! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! A bit over 2hrs from Taichung with a direct bus to Lileng, 7 minute walk from bus stop Lileng.

Bright Moon Homestay completely exceeded our expectations! We were offered exceptional hospitality and kindness by the host and family. We enjoyed the food, the accommodation and everything about our stay. It was an amazing experience! We had such a great time, we wish we had booked a longer trip. The owners were exceptional in their service. We met Typhoon KongRey on the second day of our stay and the entire Cing Jing was out - no electricity, no water. But the minsu had backup generator which ensured constant electricity/water supply. We are thankful to have these backup sources during a time where we had to stay in the room all day due to the Typhoon. And of course the slide in the room was a blessing during the typhoon - was great for the kids. The owner was also so kind to provide us with complimentary lunch and dinner during a time where there were no restaurants open. Their hospitality is top-notch.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was big and the view from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was good.
