The owners of the hotel are extremely nice and although they dont speak english we managed to communicate really well. We booked the dinner with them and it was really amazing - all home cooked traditional dinner. Would definitely recommend to take it if you stay here. The hotel is on a bit of a remote road but its really worth the drive. Room is as shown in the pictures. Would definitely stay here again.

A very unique, random but cool place in a remote "village". To get there, you cross the bridge over the river with a stunning view. It's close to beautiful hikes and they provide a solid healthy breakfast. Lunch and dinner as well if you want, with veggies from their own garden. Downstairs is filled with taiwanese artifacts and statues and upstairs is a gallery. It's very relaxed and an experience to stay here if you love hiking! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! A bit over 2hrs from Taichung with a direct bus to Lileng, 7 minute walk from bus stop Lileng.

Bright Moon Homestay completely exceeded our expectations! We were offered exceptional hospitality and kindness by the host and family. We enjoyed the food, the accommodation and everything about our stay. It was an amazing experience! We had such a great time, we wish we had booked a longer trip.
