Domingo, the owner of the house was the kindest, most caring, and friendliest person we can ever ask for as a hotel owner. My kids loved this place the most among all the places we visited in Taiwan and we will for sure come back to Taiwan just to visit and stay at this place again. Friendly and helpful owner. Immaculate private "pod" style room situated in the wooded garden. Little terrace outside shared with one other pod and another rooftop terrace with view over the village. Everything in the pod seemed brand new and spotlessly clean. Best shower I've experienced in Taiwan, hot and powerful. Very comfy bed, smart TV with Netflix on the remote although I didn't test it. Plenty of plug sockets, silent and efficienct AC kept the room nice and cool. Owner very friendly and lots of nice little touches including an electric racket for any mosquitoes that got in (didn't need to use it). Woke up to birdsong. Lovely little place, only wish I had been staying longer. Best value for money of anywhere I've stayed in Taiwan during my 13 years here.

The host is very nice and very helpful. You can tell he wants you to enjoy your visit. The place is spotlessly clean set on a quiet road surrounded by farmland. It's just a stone's throw outside of the main town, which makes it very convenient for touring the area, and quite easy to get into town. You will need your own car to take advantage of the location and the area.
