It was beautifully decorated and superbly clean. The rooms were very spacious and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone. We had the best fun and felt right at home. The coffee was terrific and with a full size refrigerator and supermarket nearby it was perfect for weary travellers to cook their own food. A great benefit is it is walkable to the North Plank Road Tavern (the perfect place for amazing cocktails and brilliant food). Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

Gary was such a great host, really made us feel like we were in a home away from home. The location was great and although there was space in front of the house. There's parking on location. The beauty of the house was mirrored inside and out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Gary is a great host, and we had inspiring conversations with him. While fitting the appartment he absolutely thought of everything; you just need your luggage (=clothes) to stay here. The rooms are fondly furnitured - it's such a joy to walk through the flat and look at all the details. Even the fridge was filled with some softdrinks and fruits, and Gary's legendary banana bread tastes yummy!
