I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Breathe River Retreat in Parys, South Africa, and I must say it was an absolutely awesome experience. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the river. Waking up to the serene sight of the flowing river right outside my window was simply mesmerizing. One of the things that truly made this retreat special was the tranquility it offered. The peacefulness and quietness of the surroundings were like a balm to the soul. It provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing me to truly relax and rejuvenate. To add to the already incredible experience, I had the opportunity to witness a remarkable thunderstorm during my stay. Being tucked away in the midst of nature and experiencing the power of the storm was truly awe-inspiring. It was an unforgettable moment that made me appreciate the beauty and grandeur of nature. Overall, my time at the Breathe River Retreat was nothing short of amazing. From the stunning river views to the peaceful ambiance and the incredible thunderstorm experience, it was a perfect getaway. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a serene and rejuvenating escape in the beautiful surroundings of Parys, South Africa.

    We had a great holiday in a beautifully designed villa that was clean and had all of the conveniences at hand. Winnie checked up on our needs and the river and view were fantastic. Power was virtually uninterrupted with their generators kicking in immediately.
