Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. Gutshof zum Schluxen was an absolute dream! Everything was spotless and perfectly thought out. The owner was so kind and responsive, making us feel truly welcome. We had the best time and are already planning to come back. Deserves more than 5 stars!

We had a very spacious little apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, in addition to the big kitchen for communal use downstairs. Two balconies, one West facing the other East facing - two WCs and a very clean bathroom rounded it all off. We'll be back if we can!
