A soft bed, a thick blanket, and a big pillow. I have had a nice and cozy sleep there. Have a good morning with their nice breakfast! Great variation of food! And many local choices. The homemade dessert is wonderful! The staff are all friendly and nice.

The 4-star Top Apart Gaislachkogl is located in the centre of Sölden, 50 metres from the Gaislachkogelbahn cable car, directly at the entrance to the skiing, hiking and biking area of ​​Sölden. From December 2017 the property offers 32 new built apartments and a newly renovated wellness and sauna area. The Wellness centre was a fantastic treat after a hard days skiing. It really helped soothe the muscles and made us feel strong for the next day. It probably helped keep us healthy too. We had lovely views from all the bedrooms. It was brilliant to have access to free laundry facilities every day. We enjoyed booking fresh bread deliveries too (perhaps would be even nicer if the bread was placed in a warming drawer 🙂) The rooms were clean and spacious and everything was super clean so it all seemed brand new. The bathrooms were nice and large and well designed.

Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. We enjoyed the stay in Gutzhof zum Schluxen very much since it's located in a calm valley right next to a farm but still not too far from more touristic places such as Neuschweinstein castle or the town of Füssen. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. We liked that we could order fresh Brezels for breakfast and in the evening we enjoyed the Spielzimmer where we played ping-pong. The accomodation also offers fresh coffee and tea, drinks, snacks or even pizza, which you can buy anytime during the day. Overall, I'd really recommend this beautiful place and will gladly return some day.
