The staff were polite and very warm and super nice. The apartment had all the equipment and accessories necessary for everyday life. The rooms have thick triple glazed windows, so you basically do not even hear the trains passing by. The food store “Lidl” is located just a five-minute walking distance from the accommodation. The apartment has its own dining place and there is also a very good Italian restaurant and cocktail bar just around the corner. Parking is possible in the spacious underground garage for a reasonable additional price. The trains to Eibsee and to the cable car Zugspitze station depart from across the railway.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Warm welcome, well heated clean, spacious and comfortable room, good bed and extremely good breakfast including great coffee and fruit. Spacious parking for a big car.

Full of everything you could need on a holiday - brand new cutlery and accessories. Even some cooking and cleaning essentials, which was a really nice touch. 50m to supermarket. Additional, the host was extremely accommodating both with check-in and check-out. Our stay was comfortable, stress free and enjoyable. I will certainly be coming back!

Very large and felt like we had our own house right in the middle of the town. The proprietors were very kind and you could tell they loved their place as did we. We ate downstairs at the owner’s son‘s restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. They are very kind. Michelin star service but still had a fun casual vibe. The photo I included of a building is not the townhouse but just wanted to show the beautiful mountains views in Mittenwald.
