All units have a seating area. Some units include a dining area and/or terrace. A dishwasher and oven are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. There is also a kitchen in some of the units, equipped with a microwave. Towels and bed linen are offered. This is a gem. We would love to stay here again when visiting Ghent. There is a nice balance of old building and modern apartment. The location is excellent - with cycling access to get out of the city, walking access into the town center plus good proximity to the train and access by car or taxi. There is a nice open garden space in the back which seems very rare in the city. The breakfast is provided in the room with the quality meat, cheese, coffee and other breakfast supplies replenished as requested. Fresh baked goods and bread are brought each morning. We enjoyed the convenience of this style compared to a community breakfast room. The host was perfect and very enjoyable to converse with. This definitely elevated our stay and is one of the factors that raise the rating from 9 to 10. Again, we look forward to vising Ghent again and staying at Maison Willem Tell.

The owners, Sofie’s parents who live at the property were very nice and helpful when needed (lighter and extra wood for the fireplace). Sofie is a perfect host and we enjoyed our chats.
