The house is centrally located yet just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Abraao. This offers the advantage of tranquility and close proximity to restaurants. Besides Leandro being a wonderful host with many recommendations, I also remember the pleasant conversations. We highly recommend the accommodation if you're staying on Ilha Grande. The property has garden views. The rooms have a patio with mountain views. Very comfortable room, authentic jungle experience. Indio is a great host — highly recommend a kayak tour with him, it was one of our favorite experiences on the island.

Idyllic is the word to use for Casa Arariba. It's set back a little further than the beach pousadas and it feels like it's right in the forest. That alone without mentioning the brazilian wildlife, super friendly cats, chickens popping in to say hi, dogs wandering past makes the place feel super close to nature. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, nice and cool, has a great shower and a super comfy bed..The owners also are really nice and you can see how much they care about their place and the nature around it.
