A gorgeous, lush area with beautiful grounds to walk (and see so many amazing birds!), a fantastic common area to spend time in and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Staying here at Nabitunich with Dominic and Rebecca was like staying with family. I’m already planning my return trip in a year or two.

Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

The room was clean and comfortable with lots of space (including a lockbox, desk and somewhere to hang your clothes). The shower was hot which was a luxury! The location is about 10 min walk to the centre of town (it’s at the top of a fairly steep hill) and there are a few restaurants nearby. Sonia who runs the guesthouse was SO kind - she was really flexible when I was delayed arriving due to illness and was always on hand to answer any questions/help organise trips/transport. Would definitely recommend.

Great view on the river from the living room upstairs. Ground floor has two comfortable bedrooms. Close to restaurants. Hosts are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Any tours or activities can be accommodated. Great stay!

Com vista da montanha, Villa Massis Luxury Villas localiza-se em San Ignacio e possui um restaurante, serviço de quartos, bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. The villa is located about a 10 min drive from San Ignacio. It’s quite hard to find, but you can ask anyone in town, they will know the host Larry. You definitely need a car. It’s a very nice little place in a beautiful setting surrounded with palm trees. It’s extremely quiet and that gives a nice break from San Ignacio. The beds are big and very comfy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family of 4 even without a living room. Larry can give you good advices about the activites in the area.

Such a nice family and location to stay. Very good descriptions of things to do, with or without official tours.

Santa Cruz Cabins encontra-se a 4,2 km de Cahal Pech e dispõe de um jardim, um terraço e acomodações com ar condicionado, varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. It was by far the most perfect place we ever stayed in. The cabins are incredibly beautiful, the view is amazing and the whole place is just magical. You can get an amazing breakfast delivered to your veranda and the owners are so friendly that you feel right at home. We can just recommend everyone to stay here - we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for everything :)

Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge encontra-se em San Ignacio, na região de Cayo, a 20 km de Barton Creek Cave, e apresenta acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, comodidades para churrascos, uma... It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.

The beds were comfortable, it was very clean while taken care of, attentive staff, and the location was fabulous. Right by a river, private.
