We had a long chat with Thomas who was full of information regarding the surrounding areas and all the amazing excursion options. Their son, Chayton, is himself an excellent guide who took us on an amazing excursion to see the mysterious source of the Columbia River. Deep in the rainforest, it bubbles from underground, a crystal clear beautiful set of cascades. Suncreek lodge is well kept and the cottage we stayed in was beautifully crafted in wood and very comfortable. We had a wonderful night sleep. Located in Punta Gorda in the Toledo region, Wanigi Guesthouse features a patio and garden views. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. Very nice location, a short walk from the ferry terminal and everything else. We were greeted by Theresa and she let us put our bags in the apartment early so that we could walk around and explore. Later we had the pleasure of meeting Sherlett, the owner. Sherlett was communicative, welcoming, and helpful. It was so nice to have a whole apartment with a kitchen, comfortable bed, air conditioning and a TV with multiple platforms - cuz we needed to Netflix and chill for a night after lots of traveling!
