The Old Town Flat combines a historic building in the city centre of Murten with a stylish, modern apartment including a fully equipped kitchen, a garden terrace and free WiFi. Fabulous. Comfortable for two. Loved the balcony and the natural garden. Loved being close to the ramparts on a stunning typically picturesque street. The location is a few metres to shops and restaurants. Christian was a warm and welcoming owner/host with NZ connections, which made us feel special. Can highly recommend.

Kitchen has enough appliances for a quick meal. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very pleasant. Although it is a basement apartment, it is still very airy with windows looking outside. Location is about 10 min walk from the lake, and although central it is not in the city chaos. Communication with landlord was very clear and easy.

In my case,I was looking for a place to stay with myself and not busy or full of people. It was a great stay for me. I went at the beginning of december, the weather was cold but the places around are very beautiful. I didn't travel with a car and I had to take different public transportation to arrive to the place, but it wasn't a problem for me. If you want to move freely without schedules it is better to have a car with you. Anyway, the place is gorgeous, the owner is a really nice and kind person and I felt really comfortable. It was great! Recommended!
