Nestled in an awe-inspiring Alpine setting, the chalet offers breathtaking views right from the window — the kind you’d usually only find in postcards. The home itself is beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with every modern amenity you could possibly need. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel both comfortable and inspired. We only wish we had more time to soak it all in. This place is not just a stay, it’s an experience — and one we’d highly recommend to anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a true taste of the Swiss mountains. Denis and his family were wonderfully warm and helpful, always prompt and kind with their responses. A heartfelt thank you to them for making our stay so memorable. This is, without a doubt, a must-stay gem in the Alps.

Set in Andermatt in the Uri region, 150 metres from Andermatt ski lift, The Base Andermatt offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The stay was absolutely amazing. Everything from the town, location, the apartment, and not least of it, the exceptional service from the manager Michele, all of it was outstanding.

Very nice apartment in the center of Andermatt. Despite being right behind a restaurant, it was very calm, no noise at all. The owner was very nice and responded quickly to all questions. Everything needed for our stay was available in the apartment. I will come back here next time I'm staying in Andermatt !

Before arrival I'd had much communication with Ewa as we gained an additional friend on our journey. She was great - so weloming - she left the door unlocked so we were able to get in as soon as we arrived. She came to welcome us and showed us around, advised about parking etc The place was lovely - very comfy rooms and a well stocked kitchen. The coffee machine was ready for use. Excellent value for money.

We were hosted by the most kind and helpful people I have met over the year travelling. Stuck in snow unable to reach the accommodation we were rescued by Felix. The apartment was great and my family enjoyed the place. The place is very thoughtfully designed and managed. Wish we stayed longer than one night.

The area where the apartment is situated is an area of outstanding natural beauty with many superb mountain passes all around. There is a lovely patio with mountain views and mountain views from all the windows. Fabrizio the host, is super friendly with excellent communication and was a great help to us. We would like to thank him for a fantastic holiday. If anyone stays here who uses a wheelchair, there are extensive smooth tarmac paths all behind the apartment, which are perfect for a wheelchair. We highly recommend this apartment.
