Ned and Greta are the loveliest, caring hosts we met on our whole trip so far (and we are „on the road“ for more than 6 months now)! Ned picked us up from the airport and gave us an introduction to Aitutaki and where to find what in the neighborhood. That helped us a lot to get in touch with the locals. The accommodation is very clean and the kitchen is spacious and sufficiently equipped. Our room wasn‘t huge, but absolutely sufficient, since there is a big veranda and a hallway with sofas to hang out. It’s easy to meet other travellers since it is quite busy (if you are looking for a lonesome retreat that’s probably not the place 😉). There was complimentary drinking water, which is a great plus! There where also fresh fruits every day during our stay. WIFI works great. Highly recommended and an awesome price for value! Greta, Ned and their family are best! Lots of love, Sarah and Lukas

Stayed 2 weeks in January. Across the street and 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place is a real find. Well constructed, modern and super clean. Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.

Great, comfortable and quiet place to stay in Aitutaki. We literally had the beach for ourselves. The bungalow has everything you could ask for. We felled great from the first minute after our arrival. There are a few nice restaurants around where one can enjoy a good breakfast and dinner with an amazing view of the lagoon. The property provides bicycles, which can be used to explore the island. A very big 'Thank You' to Mere for being such a fantastic, friendly and welcoming host. We were rather sad to leave ... I guess that is a good sign. I hope we will be back sometime soon.

Staying at Tai Marino Beach Bungalows was an absolutely incredible experience and the highlight of our entire trip to the Cook Islands. From the moment we booked, communication with our hosts Vaea and Marokii was smooth, warm, and helpful. Vaea insisted on greeting us at the airport, even though we had rented a car, just to personally welcome us, show us around the village, and share all the local tips we needed to start feeling at home. Their hospitality throughout our stay was simply exceptional. Always available and genuinely kind, they provided great recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and how to experience Aitutaki like a local. The bungalow itself was perfect, spotlessly clean, newly built, and equipped with everything you might need, including ultra-fast Starlink internet. The location is unbeatable: right on a pristine, quiet beach on the sunset side of the island. Two private loungers and a canoe were waiting for us outside, and we spent every evening walking for hours along the untouched shoreline as the sun set over the ocean. It truly felt like paradise. We also took a private lagoon tour with Marokii on his boat, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world, despite the weather not being the best. The scenery, snorkeling, and the visit to Honeymoon Island and One Foot Island were breathtaking. It felt like we were in a dream. We can’t recommend Tai Marino Beach Bungalows enough and we will certainly be back. Vaea and Marokii, thank you so much for everything—you made our trip magical.#taimarinobeachbubgalows

It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Etu Moana Boutique Beach Villas - Adults Only se află în Arutanga și pune la dispoziție vedere la mare, biciclete gratuite, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, o terasă și un bar. Idyllic beachfront location with only 8 large detached chalets. Well equipped. Lovely breakfast provided by the pool. Very relaxed ambiance with so few guests - we were often the only people on the beach. Lagoon is shallow but OK for swimming with plentiful fish. Provision of bicycles, e-scooters and 2 electric golf carts make it easy to get around this small island.

The villa was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. The air conditioning worked well. View of the lagoon and the surf breaking over the reef was spectacular. Mark, our host, lent us his car (competative price) and also took us out to One Foot Island in his skiff. A much better choice than a larger boat with many tourists. On the premises is a great little restaurant and food store. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. The menu was versatile with vegan options. The mango smoothies were great to quench our thirst during the hot summer days on Aitutaki. Overall--a great place to stay if you like to avoid the resort crowd and actually meet the locals.
