We walked everywhere and had numerous restaurants to choose from within 5 minutes leisurely walk with a view of the ocean. We felt in total contact with the island while staying there. Got to enjoy the people and rhythm of life at our front door. Never felt crowded even in the height of the summer. The breakfasts were just right - simple and healthy with delicious fruit, vegetable, cheese and baked goods. Sonia and Francisco were wonderful hosts. They made excellent tour recommendations and oriented us to the island on our arrival and during the stay.

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful wooden interior, huge space, comfy beds, free fruits, a sea view and have its own one of a kind moai (its carved out of red rock, thr head is in thr museum literally next door). Rene the owner is really helpful and friendly. It seems a little far from town but there is a shortcut if you are on foot, it only takes 5 minutes to get to Ahu Tahai, the famous sunset spot.

Free WiFi access is mostly available, and the property offers free parking.... Tranquility and cleanness, free access (for all guests) to the very spacious and well equipped kitchen, and last but not least, owner and host Beni who will help you with any problem or doubt you may have. He provides free transportation from and to the airport, and will give you information about tours, shops, places worth visiting, etc. He truly cares about all his guests so they feel comfortable and safe during their stay at his place (ie.home).

Hotel Boutique La Perouse offers accommodation in Hanga Roa. Free WiFi access is available in the common areas and all rooms. La Perouse is separate in two wings, meters away from each ofther. We had a lovely welcome from the staff at La Perouse and during our stay. Our bungalow was spacious, tasteful and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - close to restaurants but also very private. The bungalow was right across from the sea. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you Paula and staff.
