It is located +-30 minutes from the main entrance of the Torres del Paine nature park. It is a ranch on the countryside in the middle of the nature. The rooms are separate cabins which are warm and very well decorated. The breakfast is very good and extensive. The woman who does the reception and the breakfast is very friendly and smiling all the time and is willing to help you with everything. From the Rifugio you have hikes within a half hour drive ( Grey Lake and the glacier (Boat to the gkacier was fantastic). Hike to Cuernos de Paine id must anf aldo hal hour drive. For the most scenic hike to Bas de Torres you will leave early because 1.5 hours drive to starting point. But worthwile and very demanding! Took us about 7 hours with 2 brakes.
