Base was perfect for a two week stay, which is long enough that it would be annoying to stay in a hotel, but also not long enough to find a regular apartment to rent. I was especially happy about having something closer to an apartment than a hotel room since I got sick on my second week and had to spend an entire week inside while getting better, but at least I had a great view, lots of light and enough of a kitchen corner to make tea and soup for myself, which made the whole thing less miserable. There are plates, mugs and cutlery, plus a toaster and a water heater. A pot for basic cooking would be nice so you don't have to buy a bunch of stuff for longer stays and can actually use the kitchen, but it worked fine for two weeks. The staff were all super helpful and kind - especially the cleaning lady, who knew that I was sick and was quite concerned about me getting better. It's obviously quite pricey for Beijing in objective terms, but with the alternative being a hotel, I would've been much less happy with a hotel for the same price. It also has the advantage of taking care of police registration, which can be a bit complicated when renting an apartment and time-consuming enough to eat up a significant portion of a short, busy stay.

The location is great close to metro stations and also close sanlitun. I could easily commute the workers stadium line is maybe 5mins walk and there is another line 15mins slow walk away.

The place is beautiful, clean, and comfortable—perfect for groups, with a BBQ area available. The bathroom is lovely, and the location shouldn’t be a problem if you rent a car or arrange transfers. The TV offers a wide variety of movies to enjoy. The dining area is right next to the house, which is very convenient. The cook and the host are both kind and take great care of guests. The breakfast is simple but delicious and very fitting.

The interior is super interesting and has everything needed for your stay. Everything is super clean and tidy.

Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Our hosts were simply amazing! They were just so lovely. Amazing overnight ha stay! Very authentic. We had trouble with organising transfer from Beijing but then found this accommodation. our host picked us up from our Beijing city hotel and too us back at a very reasonable and much much cheaper price than anything we looked at! Also took us to and picked us up from the water town when needed. Honestly never post normally but felt I needed to share what a wonderful experience we had! We also had breakfast made for us and there was plenty and at a very reasonable price and was very yum!

Beijing Yasmine Serviced Apartments is 1.1 km from Guijie Street. Yonghegong Temple is 2.3 km away. Free WiFi is available . All units have a TV with satellite channels. I was in this hotel in Beijing for 13 days and it was amazing !!! The host was so kind and helpful ! She gave me plenty of free bottles of water (because tap water is not drinkable in China) and she also helped me a lot with the activities in Beijing because I could ask her to book tickets and everything worked perfectly (by the way the city of Beijing has so much to see and experience) ! She responded very quickly to messages (we communicated with WeChat) and she spoke English ! The location was also amazing, as it is an apartment in a complex that is very calm and well situated (not far from Dongzhimen subway station). I was on the 17th floor, meaning that the view was really cool ! The room was clean, big and comfortable. They came every week to clean it, change the sheets,...There was also for example a washing machine in the apartment, with cleaning liquid that I could use. So the apartment really had everything needed for a great stay ! I really cannot recommend it enough and I would totally come back here !

The host helps explain the different hiking trails in the area of the great wall and it is a 10 min walk from the start of one. The hosts cooking is also great! It was nice to have home cooked meals!
