The staff was so great! They helped me book my ticket to the national park which ended up being cheaper than booking it on trip.com. She also helped me map out my route since I was going by myself without a guide. She was very friendly!! Great location - about 10 minutes from the east gate by walking. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

In addition the price is very reasonable for the area and you get the best view of Tianmen mountain! It was so lovely to see the cave from our bedroom, as a last picture of our trip. The family-run ambiance here is absolutely wonderful! The staff speaks excellent English and assists with booking park tickets. The room, while basic, is impeccably clean – the air conditioning keeps it nice and warm. Although the bathroom is somewhat compact, the hot shower is ample and refreshing. We booked a bus to the National Forest Park, and the service was outstanding. An all-around win! Luggage storage is free after check-out.

The place is near so many restos and shops. I like that it is just next to the river. The host helped us with plan our trip of Grand Canyon and National Park. We enjoyed the claypot resto nearby and went there 3/4 days for breakfast. The room is huge and clean. Towels and slippers are changed daily plus unlimited free water bottles! Also toiletries are nice smelling.

Set in Zhangjiajie, WALLY HOUSE 张家界青山惠风民宿 features free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from Yuanjiajie, 2.1 km from Bailong Elevator and 2.5 km from Zixia Taoist Temple. the property is very authentic, and atmospheric. it is like you dive into the different world. rooms are big, which is a very big plus, and have a conditioner heater/cooler. at first it is cold, but then it gets warm very fast (remember we are out of season) I think it is paradise here during the summer. as many of the people wrote there is a night market just by the hotel. Wally helps with everything which is a big relief when you don’t know the area, the language etc, it saves a lot of time. don’t expect 5* hotel, expect adventure. and of course being located almost next to the entrance to the park gives a tremendous convenience. thank you Wally!

The hosts were absolutely wonderful and made our stay truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given a refreshing welcome of fresh watermelon. The hosts even went the extra mile by meeting us on the road and carrying our bags up the stairs to our room. Throughout our stay, the hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive, always being available to reply to any messages or questions we had. Their thoughtfulness really shone through when they offered to escort us to the boat tour, allowing us to skip the long lines for the most popular nighttime activity. The hosts also provided excellent local recommendations, guiding us to some delicious restaurants that really made our dining experiences memorable. When my bag unexpectedly broke, the hosts kindly sewed it up and repaired it for me at no additional cost - such a kind and generous gesture. The room itself was incredibly comfortable and had an outstanding view. The entire hotel stay was truly fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering visiting this area. Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts for making our trip so special!
