We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

Located in front of Barbacoa Beach this eco-lodge offers rooms with garden views and a private beach, within a 10-minute drive from Playa Blanca Beach. One of the most incredible stays of our lifetime - calm, peaceful, pleasant, perfect. Olga and her team are such good people. We loved this place. Can’t wait to come back

The place is very basic - like all the places on playa Blanca. This place is definitely one of the best looking places around - in the more quiet area of the beach. Electricity only in the evening and no running water. Decent Wi-Fi. Fantastic location just at the beach. The view from the rooms with sea view are terrific. The rooms at the back are with no windows - go for one of the front rooms. There are Sun beds at all levels. Anderso is amazing - exceptionally friendly, service minded and accommodating. The food is good and reasonably priced - try the grilled fish. They can arrange tours to Isla Rosario and plankton tour. We really enjoyed our 4 days there.

Playa Tortuga Cabaña se găsește în Playa Blanca, la câțiva pași de Plaja Blanca, și include o grădină, un bar și vedere la mare. The place is very basic, but Carlos make sure its always clean. You will see him cleaning the whole place multiple times.

Thank you all! The room was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful and very accomodating. All areas were so clean all of the time! Congratulations!! It cannot be easy with all the sand and people, but it is perfectly done! You would also expect the food and drinks menu to be overpriced,but it is not. Very fair for the location. The hostel is also very well located. There's areas at the beach that are less quiet, others that don't have that much beach space, but this is beautifully done here.
