Casa Sol localiza-se em Sarapiquí, na região de Heredia, e apresenta um pátio. The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

We really loved the view! Thomas was very helpful and provided a lot of information. A very relaxing stay!

Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 localiza-se em Sarapiquí, a 33 km de Cascata La Paz e a 35 km de Jardim da Cascata La Paz. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Eco Guest House- Sarapiquí 2 localiza-se em Sarapiquí, na região de Heredia, e apresenta um terraço e vista da montanha. Middle of the rainforest sits their cute little wood cabin. There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get. Wendy and her family was so nice to us even though we only stayed a day. The location is near the Tirimbina reserve so we stayed here for the night walk. Cute dog too! Hummingbirds were right outside the cabin feasting on flowers.

Casa Familiar la Tortuga localiza-se a 37 km de Parque Nacional Poas e fornece acomodações com um jardim, um terraço e serviço de quartos, para sua conveniência. The owners welcomed us into their home. The room was very spacious and clean with a good size balcony. Excellent breakfast.

Apresentando vista da montanha, Casa Vista del Valle apresenta acomodações com um salão partilhado e varanda, a cerca de 33 km de Parque Nacional Poas. What a wonderful experience. Cynthia truly understands how important is to feel welcome once you decide booking a place: the house is beautiful, cozy, full of warm details and the view is marvelous. We didn't have luck and it rained most of the time so we were glad that the house was so welcoming and well appointed for staying in. Definitively worth to go through these tricked ways arriving here and feeling like you're coming home. The neighbors are respectful of your privacy and it's nice to have people around just in case. You won't miss anything in Cynthia's home. So very grateful for all your kindness and care, looking forward for a next time!

KAPALIZ tem vista da montanha, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Tigre, a 2,4 km de Estação Biológica La Selva. Honestly it was a complete apartment with everything!. It had a kitchen with oil and salt which is essential for cooking your own meals. It had a laundry room which I didn't use but it was nice to have that option. The normal size fridge and the AC was a blessing with all the heat in CR. The bathroom was excellent. There was even an office desk and a dinner table, it was perfect!. And besides all of that 4 beds and I could park the car next door. It was very comfortable to stay here, very much recommend! The area around was beautiful and so peaceful.
