She took such great care of me. It was no problem to check in early, even though she had a really busy day. She made everything work for me. The apartment is very big and the price is incredible. She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. We loved the views from the property and the size of the house is great. Very reasonable price for the house and a great location with lots to do within driving distance. The place is as described, clean, new and exceptionally well equipped. Our host Pablo was very friendly and helpful, and gave us suggestions for dining as well as the best produce vendor in the area. The location is ideal - in a small quiet village [La Flaminia; not Tigre, by the way] just outside Puerto Viejo and off the main Route 4, very close to the amazing La Selva Research Station (don't miss one of their tours for incredible wildlife!), but in a quiet and secure spot - no barking dogs, roosters or traffic noise! Fabulous kitchen, great hot showers, quiet A/C: it's not in the rainforest itself, but it's a great place to relax after a day in the rainforest.
