Carlos and Werner have created the most amazing experience. Their home is just so comfortable and has everything you need. Carlos’ cooking is fantastic! If you’re lucky enough to have the Deutsch pancake you’ll love it. Werner was so good with the tours and really took the time to make sure I had the best experience, suggesting options that weren’t on my radar but were fantastic. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The property was amazing, we were surrounded by birds and it felt like we were in the middle of the forest but with all the luxuries of the modern world. There is a pond were we swam and kayaked in during our stay. We saw multiple toucans in the tree next to the restaurant. Our son did not want to leave when we had to leave to go to our new location. I wish we had more days to spend here!

We loved how peaceful, classy and clean the studio is! Great amenities and finishes and the bed was really comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the use of the clubhouse with gym, pool and game room was awesome! The Monday morning community breakfast was tasty and a good chance to commune with other residents and guests. The hosts Ian and Marcela are personable, available and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. One of the highlights of a great stay was an amazing reflexology session with Mariela. We also took advantage of a massage in their spa, which was super affordable. The drive from town to their suite was on a short dirt road with great views of the lake, so we chose to buy some food in town to cook in their amply supplied kitchen rather than drive back and forth.

There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

The owner was so very helpful and warm and friendly. She gave us a great breakfast, helped us to figure out where to visit (hot springs, volcano, and ziplining). The location was outstanding. You can see both the volcano and a bit of the lake below, since you are perched up on a hillside. The patio was so very cool as well: swings, hammock chair, tables constructed from shipping pallets. All very sweet looking. If we ever come back to the area we will DEFINTELY stay with her again.
