The location was perfect for us since we wanted some peace and quiet whilst still being able to access the national park by boat.

The owners were super friendly and helped us with all requests. We also booked the canoe tour and the day walk tour with the location and had a great time. We highly recommend it.

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Tortuguero Beach is 70 metres away. Fantastic host. He could not have been more accommodating. Even came over on a rainy evening to give us an umbrella. Great value for 2 friends as there were 2 bedrooms. Market and great coffee place were steps away with a few good restaurants only steps farther. As soon as we arrived, the host had a tour guide —Brandon Experience—come over to tell us about the options. Brandon gave us two great tours (morning canoe ride followed by national park) and arranged for our transportation to Arenal.

We spotted a variety of birds, iguana, and a far off monkey from there. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, the boat dock, and the Tortuguero National Park. Oscar has his on boat with a quiet trolling motor, and he gave us an early morning boat tour of the National Park canals. He’s wonderful guide at spotting wildlife- many birds, spider monkeys, caiman, lizards.
