A clean, well-equipped apartment with all the facilities needed for a short stay in Espargos. It's located in a residential area in front of the school, so it's quiet at night. Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

We loved staying at Ca GIOgio! Our hosts - Antonio and Geany were very welcoming and helpful! :) apartment was clean, spacious and the location was just perfect! Highly recommend! 🥰❤️

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! The apartment has everything you need, very clean with all the supermarkets round the corner. The property has met all of our expectations.

Villa ao Mar offers accommodation set in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows and Nazarene Church. Good location close to the main pedestrial street and to the beach, original apartments with nice beach view, I recommend

Great villa perfectly located in Santa Maria with access to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is very comfortable and well appointed with all the facilities you need for self catering. We particularly appreciated the inclusion of a washing machine as the local laundry costs can be quite expensive. The host was very flexible and went above and beyond helping with any help we needed. All in all, thoroughly recommended.
