A clean, well-equipped apartment with all the facilities needed for a short stay in Espargos. It's located in a residential area in front of the school, so it's quiet at night. Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was great, in a quiet area and close to the pedestrian street and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed in case you wanted to cook anything, big balcony, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom. Dali and Zuela are absolutely amazing, they arranged a taxi from us from the airport so everything went smooth. They are always there to help you with whatever you need - be it the accommodation, booking trips for you, or telling you how to find your way around the island. On top of that, when my husband got (slightly) bitten by a dog, Dali went above and beyond to find us a clinic that was open and we are grateful for that! She even helped us with other stuff after we moved to another hotel, which wasn’t her job anymore, but being the nice person that she is, she did that too. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend the whole holiday there!

Off the beaten Path a quiet part of Santa Maria. A calm area away from the crowds yet only a few minutes walk to the busy waterfront strip. We loved our stay at Ca GIOgio Apartment it’s a very spacious well planned fully equipped apartment, we really had all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable, the black out curtains helped keep the apartment cool we didn’t need to use the air conditioner but it was there if we needed it. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. Kitchen was a joy to use along with the clothes washing machine. Nice sitting room had good light with lots of windows. The entry and hallways of the entire building is well maintained and a pleasure to use. In the surrounding area are grocery shops, city markets , local restaurants and across the street a hospital. Amazing white sandy beach with delicious seafood restaurants, bars of all price points reachable by foot 5 minutes. Our highlight was visiting the Pier to watch the fishing boats bring in their catch along with local artists selling a variety of interesting crafts. The Island has a nice local culture and it was really special to mingle with the local friendly Cabo Verdians and support their businesses. Thank you for your hospitality.

It's in a safe and secure part between the beach and the center of Santa Maria. A grocery store is close. The people in the neighborhood are great and super friendly. There are so many great restaurants around that are affordable. There are 2 restaurants within a block of this location. My favorite part was watching people pass by on the street from my balcony. Paola and Mano are there to help you out. They are the friendly faces that are there twice a day to get you set up if you need to.....but you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. Wifi is great. Everything was SO easy. From the airport to Sakaroule. I spent 3 weeks here. I don't know where the time went, but it was a great place to call home and I am so grateful to Paola for her wonderful hospitality. Don't go to the big overpriced hotels. This is a very special place and if I ever come back, I would stay here again. Minutes from the beach. Minutes from great restaurants. Minutes from the central walk. Minutes from culture. Minutes from a shopping center. No taxi is needed. Most excursions will also pick you up from Sakaroule which Mano will set up for you if you need assistance with language or activity ideas.

Villa ao Mar offers accommodation set in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows and Nazarene Church. Great location, right on the beach, clean and spacious apartment, well equipped. Daria the communication manager was fast in replies and willing to help us with everything we needed! If you find this place available don’t hesitate and book it straight away!

Great villa perfectly located in Santa Maria with access to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The villa is very comfortable and well appointed with all the facilities you need for self catering. We particularly appreciated the inclusion of a washing machine as the local laundry costs can be quite expensive. The host was very flexible and went above and beyond helping with any help we needed. All in all, thoroughly recommended.
