Was invited for a birthday drink and driven to the port at departure. Arranged a mountain tour with a private driver. The large room and lovely big terrace were very neat and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen. Everything spotless. Can warmly recommend this place.

Beautiful property, very well run by Hannelore and her friendly professional staff Superb views from the roof terrace, beautiful room, enjoyable breakfast (particularly the lentil pancakes), good WiFi, laid back vibe and we also enjoyed the dinner very much. The property specialises in vegan food. As a vegetarian I enjoyed it. My only criticism overall would be the room and dinner are a bit overpriced (for backpacking not short holidays) although with only a handful of rooms I understand this. If you don't want to dine on the roof terrace, which is very enjoyable, you can always go elsewhere. Overall, a lovely place to stay which perfectly compliments the absolutely outstanding Paul Valley.

Providing sea views, Kaza Ladera in Ilha de Santo Antão provides accommodation, a bar, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace or balcony. We had a really lovely stay, the location is really nice, just a short walk up from the beach and towncenter, and the view from the terrace is amazing. The owner is friendly and attentive, and helped us whenever we had a question or concern. The food is also really nice, freshly prepared and with local products. We’ll definitely be back!

Offering a restaurant, Casa Cavoquinho is located in Paul Valley, in Cabo de Ribeira. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. The best part about Casa Cavoquinho is the location! Waking up to a view of the Paúl Valley is indescribable and so beautiful to experience. It’s like something out of a film. A true gem. You’re also close to some great hikes. The rooms are a bit more simple, but the property is clean and well-maintained. Great service and communication from the staff all around. The breakfast and dinner they serve is also delicious. I would come back here and recommend this place to friends.

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

If you like adventure, if you like to escape "modern civilisation" please come to this place. It's situated in the middle of a wonderfull blessed place. People are friendly and kind. You can walk along plenty of wonderfull paths around the area. Blessed place!!

Margaret is truly amazing. She goes above and beyond to make your stay as authentic as possible, and she's an exceptional cook. Everytime we talked about the Cape Verdian culture en cuisine, and she found out we did not yet have a specific traditional dish, she made sure that it was on the menu the next day. The view and calm are amazing. Margaret has a vast network of locals, so she can arange rides and guides if desired. The hikes in the vicinity are magnificent. Truly the most special stay of our holiday in Cape Verde.

Nằm ở Ponta do Sol, Santo Antão, Casa Au Bonheur des Randonneurs có ban công nhìn ra thành phố. I am writing this review 21.2.2023, more than 1 month after the end of my trip to Cabo Verde, so I will not remember all details: Best was the comfort of the bed. Probably the best bed in all the many hotels and appartments. Great sleeping comfort in the double bed. I stayed alone there, it would have been a nice place for a group though. No idea if the other beds are as comfi. Very tasteful design of interior. It is a nice place to stay for a night or two, when doing hiking around. Seems every now and then there are some parties / events also.
