It's a stylish and beautiful B&B in Las Galeras. The location is excellent—just a few steps from the beach and the city center. The owners have put a lot of effort and heart into every detail to ensure a pleasant stay. The bungalows are even better in real life than in pictures, and the property features a lovely garden with a pool and hammock. Not to mention the fantastic breakfast! They also provide filtered water throughout your stay. Both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised, and our only regret was not staying longer.

It's a very peaceful place .Garden looks amazing like on the picture also have very nice natural pool.We stay in bungalow and we loved it. Location of the place is perfect one street over from the beach and all restaurants walkable everywhere.Hosts Alex and Kamille were very helpful and welcoming. i will definitely recommend Casa Picaflor. The attention, kindness and taste of Mrs. Tassa was excellent at all times, not only in relation to the accommodation itself, but also in her suggestions for places to eat and visit in Las Terrenas. Honestly, a dream place to which we will return soon!

We’ve been coming to Las Terrenas for 20 years and have experienced quite a few accommodations. This year was our first stay at "Casa Barbara". The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay.
