Great eco-friendly hostal just 15 minutes walk to the malecon. Beautiful grounds. You get to hear the wildlife around the property. Nice sized room and good breakfast. The owner, Tony, also does tours himself and made some good restaurant recommendations.

As the name suggests, The accomodation is located in a very convenient central part of the city. Many fairly priced restaurants around, and if you want to splurge, there are some upper-market cafes a short walking distance also. And as a cherry on the cake, there are some great views of a nearby, frequently erupting volcano Rosa, the host, goes above and beyond making sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and are armed with enough knowledge to get the most out of her city. I originally stayed here as a stop over town to break up my travels. But ended up staying a little longer because I enjoyed it so much.

We travel to Puyo every year to visit family and usually stay in the center. This time we opted for an apartment to accommodate four of us (two couples) more comfortably. The apartment is a bit too far from the center to walk safely, but it's still near a supermarket, restaurants, banks, etc. There was plenty of space for us to cook, eat, and relax.

Lovely lady who runs the place. She helped us with arranging taxis and advice on where to eat. It's a nice size place, and has a well equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the blender - my advice is to go to the local fruit shop, buy your favourite fresh fruit and make a smoothie.

It is like you are in paradise! Great and very clean room and the view from the balcony at the garden, river and jungle is amazing. Elisabeth is so friendly! We gonna miss her and her husband and the friendly dog Blue. We had the best breakfasts during our 5 month trip. Great to hang out in breakfast area and look for birds during the day and also to play some pool/biljart in the relaxing area. The pool is really clean and big enough for a good swim. We loved it so much we stayed for more nights!
