This was one of the most interesting experiences I've had with a booking.com stay. It's an indigenous community that has a small lodging for tourists. It was comfortable and sufficient in terms of the accommodations. The indigenous ladies are always walking around and love to chat with you. They speak Quichua and some speak Spanish. We were able to chat for a long time with a big group of them and learn about their culture, way of life and families. We hiked up to a hillside with one woman who showed us her cows and different crops. They cooked us their homemade meals and made us feel really welcome. It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. One sweet old grandma always had a little puppy following her around. It was so adorable. When we planned to leave at 4 am, one of the ladies organized a taxi for us. We didn't have enough cash left, so the woman's husband lent us some bills in exchange for a bank transfer super late at night. They continuously went out of their way to help us and show kindness. I will never forget it.

Located in Guamote in the Chimborazo Province region, Hacienda Santa Ana Lodging has a garden. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This hotel is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a converted old ranch house and everything is reminding you of that: from the uses of dark woods in the room to tables and lamps made out of cart wheels. It gives the hotel an incredibly homely feel. That's even more reinforced by the setup: the dining room, also has a heart with couches to hang out, there's toys for kids, a few alcoves to hang out and read, there's a bonfire at night, a wishing well, a swing etc. Everything makes you feel at home. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive and goes above and beyond to help you in any way they can. They still maintain a few animals: a few of llama's, goats, a pig, peacocks, a dog, cats and a few rabbits. From the hotel, there are several places close by to visit, like a fairground, Iglesia Balbanera (the oldest church in Ecuador) and if course the mighty chimborazo, the highest volcano in Ecuador. Unfortunately, we only got to stay there 1 night, but if we ever go back to Ecuador, we will definitely make another stop here.

It offers accommodation in rooms and camping areas, as well as free WI-FI service and green areas. Wonderful stay, recommend highly. Incredible setting, the photos don’t do it justice. The rooms are great size, beds are really comfy and loads of blankets. Angelica and her family couldn’t be more welcoming. She gave drinks and food and offered a camp fire. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped. Brilliant stay.

The farm stay has family rooms. Everything was intentional and well laid out. Very comfortable and lots to offer at affordable prices prives for families. Great hospitality.
