Outside doesn't look like the inside so we thought we were lost despite being literally outside the front door so trust your nav...you're there. We arrived late so, our fault not theirs. Hosts are wonderful and helpful, secure parking right outside your door and the chalets look brand new and are very comfortable. A convenient stroll to everything in this beautiful town. Breakfast was delicious.

Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. The best is that you feel here like home, such welcoming owners you can barely met somewhere else. Very nice and kind people, Irma and her family. I felt really good there, thank you so much ;-)

This hotel is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a converted old ranch house and everything is reminding you of that: from the uses of dark woods in the room to tables and lamps made out of cart wheels. It gives the hotel an incredibly homely feel. That's even more reinforced by the setup: the dining room, also has a heart with couches to hang out, there's toys for kids, a few alcoves to hang out and read, there's a bonfire at night, a wishing well, a swing etc. Everything makes you feel at home. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive and goes above and beyond to help you in any way they can. They still maintain a few animals: a few of llama's, goats, a pig, peacocks, a dog, cats and a few rabbits. From the hotel, there are several places close by to visit, like a fairground, Iglesia Balbanera (the oldest church in Ecuador) and if course the mighty chimborazo, the highest volcano in Ecuador. Unfortunately, we only got to stay there 1 night, but if we ever go back to Ecuador, we will definitely make another stop here.

Campo Wasi is located in the parish of San Isidro de Patulú, 10 minutes from the city of Riobamba in the province of Chimborazo. Wonderful stay, recommend highly. Incredible setting, the photos don’t do it justice. The rooms are great size, beds are really comfy and loads of blankets. Angelica and her family couldn’t be more welcoming. She gave drinks and food and offered a camp fire. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped. Brilliant stay.
