As we settled in, we had the pleasure of meeting the rest of Karim’s family. Tarek, his big brother, stood out with his accommodating nature. Always attentive, he made sure we were well taken care of, often serving drinks and keeping the mood lively with his funny and exciting stories. His presence made us feel more like guests in a friend’s home than hotel visitors. A standout moment of our stay was Friday night, which we spent with the kids and the entire Khattab’s family. We were introduced to a young entrepreneur Mohammed at who impressed everyone with his ambition at just 11 years old. His youthful energy and entrepreneurial spirit were inspiring and added a unique charm to our experience. Mohammed has a souvenir booth on the rooftop. We found his offerings to be both reasonably priced and filled with treasures that captured the essence of our stay. The rooftop itself became one of our favorite spots for socializing, thanks to the friendly bartenders—Chipsy, Hakim, and Ahmed. Their inclusive and welcoming demeanor made this a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views. Overall, the Crystal Pyramid Inn offered us more than just a place to stay; it provided a warm, family-oriented atmosphere, rich in character and full of memorable experiences. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire Egypt trip.
