It was high season there (December) and all of the top-rated hotels were completely booked. We stumbled upon this listing and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful. The home was quaint and comfortable with excellent views of the lake. It's very well kept, clean, and everything works as it should.The house keeper, Ahmed was very friendly and eager to helpl. Gamal (the owner) was easy to contact and had us setup with last minute excursions. The whole family had a blast. Our short stay in Tunis was so much fun, there's so much to do and see. We plan to be back, and will book Sunhouse again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The apartment is huge, clean and friendly. Quite silent (it's in the middle of the city) and easy to find. Parking no problem, nearby little shops for easy shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wifi and the TV didn't work but for us it wasn't a problem.

I went to Fayoum by myself and from the beginning Ahmed communicated with me and was very helpful all the time. I took the Safari tour with Waleed and spent the best day in the desert. The breakfast was amazing! And Waheeda, the dog walked with me to the lake that it’s just 10 minutes away from the camp. I would love to come back!

The garden is perfect to chill outdoors while staying in the comfort and privacy of your home. The heated pool was an extra perk. The host was very friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable. I ate out most of my stay, hired a jeep driver and toured around all the time and still ended up paying less than what other hotels in Tunis charged. Tunis is a lovely village on its own, perfect to enjoy the Egyptian countryside without giving up 'western' comforts. With the help of a driver, at a very reasonable price, one can also explore the wonderful Fayoum area which is really rich with naturalistic and archeological sites that are worth visiting

Large and cheerful home with 2 floors ligger i Al Fayyum. Her er have, gratis wi-fi, et fælles køkken og et fælles opholdsområde. Dette overnatningssted har en balkon og gratis privat parkering. I sent four nights in Michael's parents' house and frankly it was fantastic experience. I was provided the whole second floor with mini kitchen and bathroom. As a bonus, there was space for parking my scooter in the yard. Michael's mom cooked tasty breakfasts and dinners for me (I strongly suggest choosing this option) and his father helped with everything I asked for. There are all kind of shops around to buy grilled chicken, sweets and water. Qasr Rashwan is ideal location if you want to explore Qarun lake on you own (petrified forest etc.). Michael and his wife are very nice open-minded people, and we immediately became friends. If I am ever coming back to Faiyum, I will certainly stay with them again. Thank you sooo much!
