This little house has two levels. Downstairs is quite spacious and we liked the very well-equipped kitchenette, a little table with dining chairs and a comfortable sofa. Upstairs, the mattress on the bed was firm and comfortable. Parking is just outside. The location is quiet and Neuville-aux-Bois is a small town quite remote from major roads. Beatrice is a friendly and helpful host.

We had stayed here in July with our granddaughter and we liked it so much that we decided to stay again on our return to UK. The bed is so comfortable as is the bedlinen. Florence and her husband are so welcoming and helpful. The location is in a quiet and calm village which is easily accessible from the main roads. Breakfast was plentiful with homemade produce. Florence had remembered that I was unable to eat wheat and on both occasions had baked a cereal biscuit especially. I would give this 11 stars if I could! I've stayed in many rentals and this was one of my best experiences ever. The apartment is perfectly located for taking the train (about 8 min walk), even the sidewalks to get there are nice and smooth. The place is super clean, well-equipped kitchen, washer works great, plenty of space, excellent linens and comfy -- just excellent. Highly, very highly recommended!

Despite the very short notice, the owner made all the needed arrangements so we could spend the peaceful night at this nice property and have so much needed rest before continuing our journey through France. Parking might be difficult as all streets are very narrow but it was not a very big issue. definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful house of grand proportions clearly lovingly restored over time. The room was spacious, delightfully decorated and the adjoining bathroom had a freestanding bath, which was super luxe! The breakfast was delicious with a variety of jams, home baked goods and excellent coffee. Our host was warm and welcoming :)
