This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. This is a home from home. The rooms are beautifully designed, well maintained and homely - and stocked with thoughtful additions such as local wines. On arrival we were given a map showing our location and ten restaurant recommendations which made our overnight stay really easy. You can leave your car securely parked in the grounds and walk up into the walled town in just a few minutes. We didn’t get chance to use the pool but it looked great.

We had the pleasure of staying at Le Mas Petit, a truly charming bed and breakfast nestled in the small village of Thuir, France. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the picturesque setting--everything about this place is designed for comfort and serenity. First and foremost, the breakfast was an absolute highlight. Sylvie and Brahm take great pride in serving fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented meals each morning. Local pastries, seasonal fruits, cheeses, fresh juices, and eggs prepared to your taste, were all part of the spread. A perfect way to start the day. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are lush, providing a peaceful backdrop for a leisurely stroll. The pool is equally as beautiful, surrounded by beautiful flowering trees, greenery, and offering a tranquil space to unwind. Our room was tastefully decorated with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the high-quality linens were a luxurious touch. The hosts, Sylvie and Brahm are a true testament to hospitality. Their warmth and attentiveness, and generosity make you feel like part of the family. We left feeling completely refreshed and incredibly grateful for such a special experience. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the South of France, we can't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough.

Steps from the Christmas market and a short stroll to the Halles and the free bus line. Updated apartment with all new furnishings. Spacious and well-appointed suite with everything you need for an extended stay. We stayed for five days and did not use the kitchen, but it was well equipped if needed to cook. Coffee and tea makers available. Sparkling clean, comfy bed, ample towels, toiletries, etc. Huge window allowing daylight to shine through. The apartment has a lot of character in an older historical building. The host was available within seconds if you needed to contact them. I would highly recommend this property. A bonus is the Delice cakes next door that has irresistible cakes. Kudos to the Host that gave it a personal touch.

If you're looking for a "home" for your travels in Narbonne, there is no better place than this lovely B&B. It is owned and operated by the sweetest couple, who we were so welcoming & kind that we felt like we were leaving friends at the end of our stay. We travel often and are in hospitality ourselves, and yet somehow, we were still blown away by the welcome we received from Elodie & Gregory. The apartment itself was immaculate, both in cleanliness and design. The design of the entire b&b was absolutely gorgeous and thoughtful, with updated amenities, comfortable beds, and a beautiful shower and bathroom, while still maintaining the historical features of this 1800 building. The floors in our unit were feature, as was the clawfoot tub. Location! Across the water from one of the best (voted as such) markets! And on restaurant and shopping row. Next to the cathedral. Everything we wanted was less than 3 minutes' walk. And the views were spectacular! We opted to have our delicious breakfast on the gorgeous roof deck, with views of the mountain, the canal, and the xmas market. I didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect, most of all the hospitality. I would easily decide to travel back to narbonne simply to stay with this wonderful couple in this beautiful home again! 100000 stars! We fell in love with this place, and rightfully so. You'll understand as soon as you arrive!

Bastide de la Madeline is absolutely delightful - a beautiful old farmhouse in the middle of the Provence countryside, very nicely renovated with a lovely pool. Yvan, the host, is warm generous and charming - he was incredibly kind and welcoming to us and our toddler. Yvan is also a fantastic cook - with enough warning he will cook you an excellent three course meal for EUR 35, eaten at your leisure in the cool dining room or on the sunny terrace. We can’t recommend Yvan and Bastide highly enough.
