This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from La Citè de Carcassonne. It is situated in an old, beautiful villa. Breakfast was very good.

We had the pleasure of staying at Le Mas Petit, a truly charming bed and breakfast nestled in the small village of Thuir, France. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the picturesque setting--everything about this place is designed for comfort and serenity. First and foremost, the breakfast was an absolute highlight. Sylvie and Brahm take great pride in serving fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented meals each morning. Local pastries, seasonal fruits, cheeses, fresh juices, and eggs prepared to your taste, were all part of the spread. A perfect way to start the day. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are lush, providing a peaceful backdrop for a leisurely stroll. The pool is equally as beautiful, surrounded by beautiful flowering trees, greenery, and offering a tranquil space to unwind. Our room was tastefully decorated with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the high-quality linens were a luxurious touch. The hosts, Sylvie and Brahm are a true testament to hospitality. Their warmth and attentiveness, and generosity make you feel like part of the family. We left feeling completely refreshed and incredibly grateful for such a special experience. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the South of France, we can't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough.
