This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. Fantastic place - very beautiful. The hosts were so nice and had good recommendations for restaurants.

Chic Bastide tọa lạc ở Carcassonne, cách Termes Chateau 50 km, Memorial House (Maison des Memoires) 3 phút đi bộ và Carcassonne Cathedral 500 m. We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

The hosts were really lovely and did everything so we could have a great stay with our 3 years old son. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and everything was homemade. The family room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. They kindly left some books and toys in the room for our son. It was also really nice to have a pool on site when it was too hot to visit the area. We felt like at home and didn't want to leave!

Steps from the Christmas market and a short stroll to the Halles and the free bus line. Updated apartment with all new furnishings. Spacious and well-appointed suite with everything you need for an extended stay. We stayed for five days and did not use the kitchen, but it was well equipped if needed to cook. Coffee and tea makers available. Sparkling clean, comfy bed, ample towels, toiletries, etc. Huge window allowing daylight to shine through. The apartment has a lot of character in an older historical building. The host was available within seconds if you needed to contact them. I would highly recommend this property. A bonus is the Delice cakes next door that has irresistible cakes. Kudos to the Host that gave it a personal touch.

Beautiful location - stunning views and possibly the comfiest bed I've slept in for years. Lovely shower. Continental breakfast optional at 12 Euro which was reasonable. Staff were lovely too and very friendly.

Bastide de la Madeline is absolutely delightful - a beautiful old farmhouse in the middle of the Provence countryside, very nicely renovated with a lovely pool. Yvan, the host, is warm generous and charming - he was incredibly kind and welcoming to us and our toddler. Yvan is also a fantastic cook - with enough warning he will cook you an excellent three course meal for EUR 35, eaten at your leisure in the cool dining room or on the sunny terrace. We can’t recommend Yvan and Bastide highly enough.

Great location, clean and amazing host! A lot of natural light coming in. Very large bathroom and comfortable living space/room. Nicely decorated and small “kitchenette” to cook yourself something if needed. Accepts dogs and flexible checkin.
