From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Valérie, we knew our stay at La Ferme d’Angèle was going to be something special. The entire place has a unique charm that’s hard to put into words—bohemian, rustic, and full of character. It truly feels like stepping into a peaceful, cozy retreat tucked away from the world. Dinner was one of the highlights. Valérie serves a home-cooked, family-style meal that feels like you're dining in someone’s warm country kitchen. I had a dietary restriction and, even though I hadn’t mentioned it in advance, she kindly prepared a vegetarian dish for me at the last minute. Future guests should let her know of any special dietary needs ahead of time, since she prepares everything herself with great care. This isn’t your typical hotel stay, so please come with an open mind for discovering something a little different. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return.

Mineral Lodge is located at the foot of the Aiguille Rouge descent and has direct access to the ski lifts. This gem was a unexpected surprise with wonderful hosts. Exceptional facility with a very personal approach from the host. The prepared dinner was outstanding.
