We could not have wished for a better stay at the end of our vacation. Alexia and Adrien were wonderfully warm and kind hosts, who make guests feel at home. We loved the very generous and relaxing breakfast each morning around the large dining table, chatting with other guests (there were also a couple of smaller tables available). We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia. When we entered the accommodation it felt like we were at home, the lamp was on and the TV too. We felt we were welcome. It was easy to find the place and get the key, the communication with the owner was great, the appartement was ready at 1 p.m. The entrance, kitchen and room are not big but they are very cosy. You can find everything (or almost everything) in this appartment, just like at home. There were shampoos, shower gels, even toothpaste and toothbrushes, things we have at home. We watched films on Netflix. The airport is about 10 minutes walking distance, convenient when you have early flights (that was our case). Some bread, cereals, chocolate cream, milk, tea, coffee, sugar was provided. Great for a little breakfast. It was warm inside, we were happy to stay there.
