Location was just a short walk from the beach and close to lots of good restaurants and cafes. The beach is an excellent location for collecting sea glass. The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Great place for family or small group of friends to stay. Location fantastic for exploring the surrounding area. House was clean , spacious and the the arrival freebies were a real bonus. Would thoroughly recommend this house.

Every effort had been made to meet our dietary needs and the food hamper which was very much appreciated. Good selection of tourist information, places to dine and the books provided on local history were very interesting. All together, we had an exceptionally great break. We would have liked to extend our stay. Look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you Erica and Jason's for your hospitality and kindness. We felt that we arrived as strangers but left as friends.

Daryl was very welcoming and helpful and she kindly organised to get some laundry done for us. The bed was so comfortable and the bedroom was very quiet. The kitchen had everything that you would need and was spotless. The TV has lots of choices of channels. It is a great place to stay as you can do easy trips into Durham or day trips to the Yorkshire Dales. There is a lot of great walks nearby including a walking/cycle route that runs beside the house.
