Our host, Mick, could not have been any more pleasant during our stay. He is a mine of information about the local area, and indeed the island in general. Morning breakfast was a lovely selection of locally sourced foods, served up in the communal lounge area next to each of our rooms. Following this up with a good walk in the hillside next to the accomodation, with the route advised by Mick as one that not many of the locals get to see.

Mark & Jason are beautiful souls. Lovey decor, everything was comfortable from the sofa, single chairs, dining chairs, bed, bathroom was easy to move around in. The towels nice and fluffy. Nice size kitchen with everything required for a four day stay. TV in lounge room and the bedroom. Plenty of space to hang clothes and plenty of draw space, nice little nook in bedroom for putting on makeup. I love that the mirror in the bathroom has a light and a demister. A nice size fridge. Very, very clean with great views, we were lucky to be on the top floor after 4 flights of stairs don't let that put you off. A nice quiet location. Very quick walk to the city center and foreshore. The bonus for us was having a washing machine/dryer with only travelling with carry-on luggage. Car parking was never an issue always plenty of spaces available at all times. I would recommend any one to book, Mark and Jason are lovely, friendly hosts who also own The Tea Junction which is also a must visit owned by Jason & Mark. The photos on booking.com are exactly what it is like in the apartment.

Glen Dhoo Country Cottages - The Apartment ở Onchan cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có Wi-Fi miễn phí, cách Bánh xe nước Laxey Wheel 8.7 km, Lâu đài Rushen 24 km và Manx Museum 4.4 km. Lovely stay, very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were large and both with their own ensuite shower rooms, which was really useful for a family of 4. Parking right outside the cottage door. Lovely peaceful location. The family running the campsite and cottages were lovely, went out of their way to be helpful and very welcoming to our children who had lots of space to run around outside - even letting them share their own children’s outdoor toys. Provided tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits as well as activity books and colouring pencils for the children which was so thoughtful. The children already want to come back in the Summer to camp!
