The bathrooms were wonderful! After traveling for 2 weeks with terrible bathrooms and even black mold in one, this updated bathroom was HEAVEN. 🚽🚿 The host, while not obligated, offered and helped me with my suitcase up and down the stairs. Small but HUGE when you're a solo traveler. The breakfast they offer for an extra charge (not a lot) was absolutely 💯 worth it. Best meal I had in Cheddar, and they proved gluten-free bread! 🙌🍞 As a solo traveler, I would 100% recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Cheddar.

It was our last night of our 9 days trip and by far the best. Lyn and Frank are very lovely and helpful. We felt comfortable since second one. The room is beautiful and thoughtful arranged. So many things came from local shops and artist, it’s very cool! Lyn made us a delicious homemade breakfast. We definitely want to come back! Thank you very much!

The room was Very clean and beautifully designed. The dining area was light and airy and the Breakfast was fresh and wholesome.

We were well looked after by the very thoughtful owner and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Located at a busy (and ancient) crossroads, there was plenty of parking and the room was very quiet. We dined well across the road at the New Inn, as suggested by Graham. The room had the best light blocking system we’ve encountered ever, outside of France, if morning sleep matters to you.
