How accessible the hotel was to train station, Leeds center, food shops, pubs and leisure. The staff were amazing at providing the best stay for us. The rooms were so spacious and super well kept and the balcony was lovely also. Everything was perfect.

From start to finish our hosts couldn’t do enough for us. After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. Cottage was nice and especially liked the kitchen. Getting in and out of the driveway into the very narrow road was a pain. The village is lovely.

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 37 km from White Rose Shopping Centre. Outdoor seating is also available at the apartment. This was honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The view is just incredible – not just the hills, but all the beautiful stone houses nestled in the landscape. Whether you’re curled up in the armchair with a book and a coffee, or sitting outside at the little garden table, it’s peaceful, stunning and properly relaxing. What really stood out to me was the care that’s clearly gone into everything. When I arrived, there were lovely touches waiting – bottles of milk, little savoury snacks, individually wrapped biscuits – all brand new and clearly left out just for me. The kitchen is well equipped, the place is spotless, and everything feels designed to make you feel welcome and looked after. You’ll even find walking sticks, a brolly, books, games and local tips. It’s perfectly located, incredibly cosy, and the value for money is unbeatable. A truly special find – 10 out of 10.
