My husband and I are both Greek, living in Berlin, and we have traveled a lot. This was the first time we stayed in such a clean accommodation, especially considering it is not a huge 5-star chain hotel. The room was spacious, giving us all the space we needed and making our stay super comfortable. The view was breathtaking! In addition to the room, the breakfast was delicious and handmade by the hosts. As Greeks living abroad, we obviously miss and appreciate a good handmade Greek breakfast, but we believe it is a great opportunity for foreigners to experience it too. Last but not least, the hosts were extremely warm and polite, while also giving us the space and discretion we needed.

Not necessarily appreciated is the shade on the terrace, which in summer is necessary. In Agia Pelagia with two good shops for groceries and our favourite vege shop.

Sirene Villas is located in Diakofti, 1.5 km from Kythira Diakofti Port. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. We had an amazing stay at Diakofti, very near the port and both good location and restaurant and beaches nearby. Hospitality was very warm and the breakfast, which was included was very good. Perfect location for those who don't mind driving to the center and back, always a nice enjoyable ride. Will visit again just because everything was fine and the staff very friendly.

The host was very kind and gave us useful advices about the island sights, beaches, restaurants etc.
