Offering a terrace and views of the sea, The Olive Yard is set in Gytheio in the Peloponnese Region, 50 km from Kalamata. Monemvasía is 44 km from the property. Absolutely lovely experience. Staff were friendly and hospitable. The room had amazing views of the surrounding landscape, perfect for sunrise and balcony breakfast - our favorite part. The property/hotel is very picturesque, and the room is beautifully decorated and clean. It's a great location for day trips and is very close to the largest town in the region, with numerous food options. We would go out of way to stay here again. 100% recommend.

Amazing place, nicely decorated, very clean, great location, comfortable, right in the center of the village of Mystras, just 5 minutes to Sparti and 3 to the castle by car.

The only negative thing was that we stayed only one night...

The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, a lovely pool area overlooking the sea. Our room was elegant and spotless, with a large balcony that offered panoramic views. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the region. They shared great tips for local tavernas, hidden beaches, and even helped us arrange a wine tasting. Well decorated, very spacious and clean, the best bathroom/shower, and onsite car parking. Courteous, polite, and friendly owner, and staff. Breakfast was amazing, catering was both local and international style. Only a very short walk to Aeropoli square.
