Carlos is a fantastic host and the property is great for those looking for something off the beaten path yet still only a short and safe walk to town. So nice to just chill on the lake. I rented a kayak and paddled to the cliff jumping spot, about 2 hours round trip. Beautiful view from the upper cabins!

Angel and his family are amazing hosts. They are super welcoming and always here to help. The rooms are comfortable, the mattresses are good and everything is clean. The terrace has great views of the lake and the volcanoes. Also the breakfast tastes great. Highly recommended!

He was very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions and needs. He is very knowledgeable and showed me the city and its surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The hotel is outside the busy tourist hub, which is a plus in my book. You get to see a different part of the city and you can talk with local people.

The property manager was extremely kind and helpful. I had a payment issue and he was very understanding and went the “extra mile” to help me with something else I needed too. 11/10 service! What a legend! The location was excellent, excellent value for money, good views of the lake from the balcony and inside. I sat and watched the lake in the afternoon, which was very nice. Very happy stay! Great space, so refreshing after a long time travelling.

He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.

We loved our chalet cabin surrounded by nature. Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.
