Absolutely stay here, it was a highlight of our trip! We stayed for almost a week and had such a nice time. The room is comfortable, breakfast is wonderful, the shared bathroom is no problem as only shared with one other room. We rented a moto and had fun seeing the places recommended. Shower was hot. But the star is your host - extremely helpful and caring. He even got my partner a birthday cake for his birthday, and picked us up from the bus station! He is a guide and loves to share his knowledge

Staying in a traditional Tongkonan was such a unique experience with a fantastic view. The inside is made with so much love and good taste. Eventhough the room itself was simple it was always clean and the bathroom was lovely. From the moment we stepped inside Meyskes home we felt like it was our home as well. Meyske introduced us to her culture like we have never experienced during our travels. 100% recommended if you plan to visit Tana Toraja. If you need anything you can always ask her or her super nice mom they were always there to help, whether it was the most delicious food, hot water to shower or a tee because my husband was sick. The tour with Meyske was our highlight of Tana Toraja, she makes sure you fit in as a tourist so you can enjoy the culture as much as possible. Thank you Meyske, come visit us in Germany :)

Enos was a welcoming and helpful host, as others have said. Rosalina makes a delicious breakfast, and we appreciated the free tea and coffee. There is a shared terrace with tables where you can enjoy the views and meet other travelers, and it's easy to walk or catch a bemo into the main part of town. We would stay here again.

Hos Mama Tia Family Homestay i Rantepao er der bjergudsigt, en have og et fælles opholdsområde. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt. Mama Tia is the excellent homestay and suitable for whom want to connect with locals and nature. It's a bit far from downtown but it's not a problem. The owner is an acknowlegable local guide who can suggest and manage to explore Toraja and help you to book your next trip.

Calma 31 Apartment ligger i Makassar, 15 minutters gang fra Pantai Losari Strand og 41 km fra Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. The apartment was spotlessly clean and most comfortable. Both rooms are good sized, and kitchenette was equipped with anything you might need for a short stay. The hotel pool (to which you get access) is fantastic, and the view from the rooftop terrace is amazing.

Such a neat experience staying in a traditional Torajan home and Aldi and his family are amazing!! Best suited if you have your own wheels, but I got by just fine with my guided tours and rides from the host and/or my guide. Very kind, engaging and smiling hosts who are always willing to help with anything and everything - bus tickets, guide arrangements, food suggestions, pick-ups, etc. PS You must take Aldi’s advice on local food - he knows the yummiest spots!!

Riana's Homestay ligger i Rantepao og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og have med en terrasse og udsigt til en have. Daud and his daughter are amazing. Without Daud's tips and help my stay in Rantepao wouldn't have been so perfect. The breakfast is very nice, the rooms spacious, clean and with a lot of light, the wifi good, drinking water available all day. Daud didn't pressure me for tours, and offered options and information and was always available. I really felt home at Riana's!
